We are paying them to look after our boat on their jetty and are paying them to carry out repairs to the boat. We will personally finance the extension of their existing jetty.

We will build a house for Marcelano and improve the existing house.

We will also fund the the `experimental farm’ and introduce pigs and goats to the village.

We are sponsoring 5 children to primary school and have agreed to do that for the next 5 years.

We have agreed to finance the building of the fish farm, food for the fish and transportation of the fish to market for one year or until it becomes self-funding. However our pockets are now empty.

In England, in one week in May this year, we collected £1,865.00 from our family and close friends, for which we will be eternally grateful. This money will cover the cost of one teacher for the rest of this year and it will guarantee that the school keeps open.

• To keep the school open next year we need £5,346
• To fund the Public Works Department will cost £1,733
• Improvements to the water supply, sanitation, the hotel and the shop we estimate will be £5,000.

The target for this year is therefore £12,079.
