Lagunita Football!

The football pitch is used daily by all the able bodied men and the older boys in the village, usually in bare feet, from 5.00pm until dark 6.30pm. The last Sunday that we were there they had their first ever match with a neighbouring village who arrived wearing football strip & boots. Our team, mainly playing in bare feet, won a very hard game 2-0 and if their team hadn’t had such a good goalie it would have been a massacre.
